How do you describe your style?

“I would describe my style as minimalist. I like solid colors, don’t wear a lot of jewelry and am very into basic cuts. “

You’re from California; how has San Diego influenced your style?

“Southern California is so laid back. I think I reflect that in my style in that I don’t dress too trendy or too preppy either. I love t-shirts, boyfriend jeans and, because I live by the beach, I really love flip flops too!”

Who are your fashion icons?

“Honestly, I don’t have any. I get a lot of inspiration from what my friends wear and from social media. I also online shop A LOT so I get a lot of inspiration there as well.”

What is your favorite trend this winter?

“I’m still getting used to having to dress for the cold weather, but right now I’m really liking the skinny jeans with an unfinished hem at the ankle. I like that it gives a very basic item a little flare that makes it a bit more fun. I also really like slouchy turtleneck neck-lines, especially under coats or jackets.”

What are your favorite online stores?

“My absolute favorite is Madewell. I love that their designs are so timeless yet fun and can really go with anything. But I do most of my online shopping on Poshmark, which works out really well for me 95% of the time, and I save a lot of money!”

What is a fashion trend you will never wear?

“I’m really not a big fan of mixing patterns. I don’t think I’d ever wear that personally. “

What is your go-to fashion item?

“I love a good pair of booties. They’re great for making an otherwise boring outfit a bit more stylish.”
