5 Fashion Photographers You Need to Know Now
In today’s social media centered world, we are able to consume mass amounts of fashion at the touch of our fingers. If you are anything like me, then you love seeing the latest Vogue magazine covers or Gucci ad campaigns.
I’m a photography minor so I naturally always focus on the compositional aspects of fashion photography and wonder who is behind the picture. Here are 5 of the best young fashion photographers you should be following now:
This fresh photographer is Mexico born and Barcelona raised. She now lives in New York and has done shoots for Vogue Spain and Nike! Her work embraces femininity in an ethereal yet alluring manner and has done well in the realm of high fashion.
Austrian David Uzochukwu has emerged in the high fashion scene after having made fine art photography. His work is often editorially manipulated and intriguing to look at. A few of David’s pieces have been used for Dior and Nike campaigns as well.
Nadine is a London photographer whose powerful works have led her to photographing fashion icons such as Vogue and Stella Mccartney. Her subjects are all very diverse, for which Nadine has received immense praise.
French photographer Diane creates soft, endearing images that still manage to give a powerful purpose to the clothes in the photographs. I love the way she is able to capture the vulnerability of the models just from her pictures.
Petra is a Canadian photographer and fashion model. Her work is raw and fresh and showcases femininity in an elegant yet strong manner, alluding to a sense of the models’ coming-of-age. She has photographed for high fashion moguls such as Gucci, Vogue, I-D, and Allure.
