Duping Three of the Most Iconic Outfits from Emily in Paris

Emily in Paris, a Netflix original series featuring the only and only Lily Collins, is serving us all of the French it-girl vibes that we’ve been needing. The show follows Emily Coopers adventure as her job moves her to Paris, and her exploration through love, friendship, and of course our favorite: fashion.

Though some of her outfits go beyond our comfort zone (and standards of style), we can’t help but admit that her outfits somehow combine class and boldness all in one delicious cocktail of clothing. Now, these eye-catching choices are no surprise, speaking as the styling was done by Patricia Fields, who also styled Sex and the City and The Devil Wears Prada. But we have to ask, are her outfits really Parisian?

The simple answer is no. Elle proclaimed that the outfits put together by Fields in the show are “a riot of color, patterns, and designer pieces all competing for attention.” So, you won’t see these outfits on any French it-girls, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t pretend. Check out how we’ve duped three of our favorite outfits from Emily in Paris!

Though the beret in Paris might be a little cringe-worthy, Emily serves Parisian wistfulness with this checkered black and white coordinate. Lucky for us, this style is easy to dupe. Add a black quilted leather bag and white booties and you have a fun yet professional outfit! Oh la la!

Now this might be something a French it-girl might actually wear! From the delicate ruffles to the high waisted straight leg jeans, Emily could turn some heads strutting through Paris.

The quote, “Whoever said orange is the new pink was seriously disturbed,” was MADE for this outfit. Long trench coat style jackets are dominating European streetwear right now, but we love how Emily made it her own by straying from a neutral color. Because pink is never a bad idea!
