Halloween Baking Ideas

It’s no secret that the Halloween season is going to look very different this year. There are still safe ways to celebrate, such as baking Halloween desserts. Below we gathered a list of our top 5 favorite quick and easy treats so you can still celebrate safely in your house by making these delicious snacks. 

  1. Halloween Sugar Cookies and Cupcakes

Sugar cookies are a simple and delicious sweet during the holiday season. These popular cookies don’t require much work as no fondant is needed. Buy vanilla frosting and mix it with food coloring to create different monsters. Add candy on top to make various monsters, such as candy corn for vampire teeth and M&M’s for a brain.

2. Graveyard Brownies

All you need for this recipe is brownie mix and Milano cookies- it is that easy! The trick to making the gravestones is cutting the Milano cookies in half and using black piping to write R.I.P. You can purchase the cute pumpkins at your local grocery to spice it up.

3. Mummy Pretzels

This is our favorite recipe! This super easy snack calls for pretzels, white and dark chocolate and candy eyeballs. This sweet and salty treat is a quick recipe for a great Halloween dessert. All you need to do is melt white chocolate, dip the pretzel in the melted white chocolate and then drizzle more on top. You can also make more designs by adding green food coloring in the white chocolate and dipping the tip of the pretzels in chocolate sprinkles to make Frankenstein.

4. Eyeball Cake Pops

Cake pops are a creative spin on cake. Once you’re finished making the cake mix, roll them into balls, put a stick and place them in the oven. Once they are finished cooking, dip them into frosting, add a candy eye, and you are done! You can also make any scary creatures you want.

5. Dirt Pudding Cups

This scary dessert  may look overwhelming, but is very simple. All you need is chocolate pudding, crushed Oreos, and gummy worms. Layer the Oreo crumbs over the pudding to make it look like dirt. This dessert is very delicious and the more dirt the better, the tastier it is.
