5 Ways to Style a Basic Button-Up

You might think a classic, collared button-up is too preppy for your wardrobe, but it is a necessity this fall and it doesn’t have to look super preppy! I recently thrifted a white button-up after seeing them all over Pinterest and I’ve found so many creative ways to wear it. It truly is the best for layering and is so versatile, you’d be surprised! Here, I’ll share my favorite ways that I’ll be wearing a button-up this fall/winter.

Opened Up

Collared white button-ups can be worn just like jackets over literally anything! I wore mine over a simple tank.

Layered Under a Sweatshirt

Collars are so in right now; wear a button-down under a big crew neck. I got my plain black crew neck off of Amazon for $15!

Tied

An easy way to make a button-down look like a completely new shirt is to tie it and wear it with high waisted jeans!

Tucked in and Casual

This is a perfect casual look to throw together for any occasion.
