My Life is Crap.
Marc Jacobs’ new collab comes straight from London. The luxury brand has partnered with Magda Archer to create colorful fashion staples and accessories.
Archer is a London-based artist who comically illustrates her “fluffy” and modern life problems. When her daughter threw a party at their home while she was away on holiday, Archer came home to find a note left for the guests. She found her daughter’s house rules so funny she decided to illustrate; this is the kind of style and work Archer creates.
Although most famously known for her acrylic canvases and postcards, Archer has dabbled in fashion ever since her work was featured in COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT campaign in 2018.
Now, Marc Jacobs has teamed up with the illustrator to add dark humor to your wardrobe. The brand has translated her pieces into chunky sweaters, tees, belts, phone cases, and cross-body bags.
Harry Styles, former One Direction member, has taken his own liking to the new Marc Jacobs line. He has been spotted in multiple garments, two of which read, “Im (sic) gonna die lonely” and “stay away from toxic people.”
The colorful pieces range anywhere from $45 to $795 to on the Marc Jacobs site, but if that’s out of your price range, here are some of our favorite prints by Archer:
