A Podcast For Each Spice Girl

We’ve been on the hunt recently for new podcasts to listen to during daily drives, walks to class, and “me” time. We also know that there are so many podcasts out there for each personality type. How did ew categorize the best podcasts for each personality? We used the Spice Girls, of course.

Sporty Spice: Sporty made her mark on the Spice Girls as the tomboy, frequently sporting (see what I did there?) dope sports bra and sweatpants combos while rocking out on stage with her hair in a ponytail. For all of you Sporty Spices reading this, the podcast Pardon my Take is for you. PMT is a satirical sports podcast that interviews legends of the game as well as some pop culture favorites, such as Zac Efron and Miles Teller. The two hosts have an incredible way of talking about sports, without really ever talking about sports. Go give it a listen!

Posh: Perhaps the most iconic member of the Spice Girls is Posh. Her fashion style and famous pout gave Victoria Beckham this name. She exuded confidence and a certain air of, well… poshness. If you ever found yourself envious of Posh, a podcast series named Chanel Metier Class 3.55 is for you. It’s a series about Karl Lagerfeld’s impact on the fashion world, and it’s run by the Chanel brand. Need we say more?

Ginger Spice: Ginger was the leader of the group, known for her fiery red hair and personality to match. The two hosts of Girls Gotta Eat have encapsulated Ginger’s energy into a hysterical podcast about the ups and downs of dating, self-love, and everything in between.

Scary Spice: Scary was known for her loud and proud personality while having a fierce side. These qualities are also what make the podcast Morbid so phenomenal. An autopsy technician and hairstylist recount some of the most notorious true crime stories in history yet lighten up the topics with their witty banter and humor. A must-listen for all of you true crime junkies!

Baby Spice: Baby Spice rocked pastels, lollipops and pigtails during the Spice Girls’ reign. She was also the youngest of the group, hence her name. Ellie Schnitt started working for Barstool Sports when she was in her early 20s and has a host of hundreds of thousands of Twitter followers. Her podcast, Schnitt Talks, covers life as a young twenty-something navigating life and love in New York City. The pale pink cover of the podcast embodies the vibe Baby Spice would have been rocking in the 2010s.
