Coolers In Quarantine

As many Elon students know, banquet season would have been just around the corner. Banquet dates, girls who are invited by fraternity brothers for a fun weekend trip to Myrtle Beach, are notorious for painting some of the most creative coolers. Usually around this time at Elon, the Historic Neighborhood is filled with girls suntanning and painting insane coolers. 

While in quarantine, I’ve started to become a bit stir crazy and have thought of things to occupy my time and make me feel like I was back at Elon. I went online, ordered a pre-sanded and primed Igloo cooler, Amazon Primed some acrylic paint and got started. 

Painting has always been super therapeutic and relaxing to me, so I thought there was no better thing to be doing in these weird and uneasy times than to paint a cooler. Whether you are painting one for your banquet date (if you already knew who that was going to be), a boyfriend or girlfriend, or even one for yourself, here is some inspo of some of the amazing coolers my friends have made.
