In times like these, there are few things we need: a lot of hope, a solid Netflix queue, and strong inspiration to do our makeup. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here are some of TV’s most iconic shows with killer beauty looks.  

Sex & The City (HBO, Amazon Prime Video)

An obvious choice. In times of distress, it’s always good to return to a classic. Carrie Bradshaw and her girl gang living in Manhattan will always provide us with the best hair styles and relationship advice.

GIRLBOSS (Netflix)

If you haven’t heard of the fashion brand Nasty Gal, you’ve clearly been living off the grid and/or under a rock—are you okay?  The trendy online giant once began as a simple Ebay store from a broke San Francisco girl. This series is based on the story of Nasty Gal’s founder Sophia Amoruso, and her truly self-made success. Plus, she rocks the bangs and is the inspirational push you need to cut your own.

Euphoria (HBO)

Zendaya. Jacob Elordi. I’m not drooling, you are! Okay, the show is more than those two actors who happen to make an incredible-looking couple, but you have to admit, they’re so nice to look at. This edgy masterpiece is one you won’t want to miss out on. The iconic production company A-24 created this show, and it truly is a work of art. This show has everything you need—great writing, acting, casting and not to mention a ton of incredible makeup looks. Get ready to buy rhinestones and glittery eyeshadow, you’re going to want recreate every scene.

Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker (Netflix)

This new series on Netflix tells the true story of one of the most important figures in the history of beauty. Madam C.J. Walker was the first self-made female millionaire in America. She worked to help women of all hair types find confidence in themselves with her products. Her story is full of setbacks and prejudice, but above all, great success. The story is inspiring and the lead is a straight up badass—what’s not to love?

Fleabag (Amazon Prime Video)

This show follows the life of a hysterically sarcastic single woman living in London and how she copes with love, loss and her psychotic family. She is a mess but the best kind of mess. She’s relatable and somehow always rocks a red lip. This show legit changed my life (and my makeup routine), and is a MUST-watch.
