Bella Hadid's Recent Instagram Post Makes Me Want to Buy Every Pearl Anklet I Can Find

When Bella Hadid—arguably one of the most influential fashion icons of our time—sports a new, unique style, one can only assume that her mob of fans and followers will quickly follow suit. Hadid is well known for her edgy, contemporary street style—but as we all know, “street style” has recently turned into “dressing up to go food shopping.”
However, this hasn’t stopped Hadid from sharing unconventional outfit inspo with her 31 million Instagram followers. Recently, the model posted a photo slideshow of herself wearing a daring green-on-green look. And while her lime green trench coat and neon green alien-chic sunglasses definitely caught my eye, the real star of the show was the double-stacked pearl anklet she donned on her bare feet.
Anklets were undeniably popular in summer 2019—seen in Instagram posts and street style photos, alike. And pearl accessories have recently trickled their way into the zeitgeist, with pearl hair clips dominating Instagram and pearl necklaces and earrings being sported by all kinds of celebrities (Harry Styles even wore some to last year’s Met Gala).
Both of these trends are lovely on their own, but Hadid’s look proves they’re even better together. We hope to see this unique accessory popping up everywhere this season.
