A Look into the Best Looks of MTV VMAs 2020
Even through a pandemic, this year’s MTV VMAs red carpet award show continued. Throughout New York City, there were many different locations where artists and celebrities posed for traditional red carpet pictures. Here’s a look at all the bold, glamorous and unique styles that were shown at the VMAs.
Lady Gaga never fails to be the eye-catcher of the crowd and strut her unique wardrobe. She was styled in a silver metallic jacket by Area, paired it with a necklace by Edward Avedis, and topped it off with Pleasers knee-high, black platform boots! She is mirroring the Moon Person award at the VMA’s.
Bella Hadid is giving us all of the 90s vibes with her sheer top and tailored flare pants! She was styled by Albanian designer, Nensi Dojaka. She finished off her look by adding big hoop earrings and a spiked hair updo.
Doja Cat was seen wearing a metallic Versace dress from the Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Her dress includes floral detailing with a beautiful open back. She paired her look with a piece of matching jewelry and a braided low pony.
Bebe Rexha styled a Lionne Clothing black, leather, blazer dress for the VMA’s. She was seen showing her metallic nails, silver jewelry, and completed her outfit with black biker shorts. Not to mention, this high-pony is so chic!
Madison Beer is wearing a black sheer dress by Mugler and paired it with Eriness Jewelry. She styled her hair sleek and straight, drawing the attention to her edgy dress. She was styled by Kris Fe for this year's VMA’s.
Machine Gun Kelly rocked a pink monochrome outfit showing off his amazing tattoo sleeves. As shown, he posed for the picture with a blazer draping over his shoulder, styled by Berluti. He finished off his look by pairing his outfit with a pearl necklace. I think it is safe to say Machine Gun Kelly will always be a fashion icon.
DaBaby wore a Dolce & Gabbana cap, and a Supreme jacket throwing us back to the 80s and 90s. He finished off his look with the coolest Louis Vuitton shorts. DaBaby did not disappoint with this outfit!
Joey King showed who is boss at the VMA’s. The actress wore a floral Versace long-sleeve dress. She styled her mini dress with two gold chains also by Versace and pulled back her hair with two clips. Her stylist is Jared Eng, and it is clear that he achieved King's best look.
The Black Eyed Peas came in with coordinating outfits that all tied together. They all are styled in denim tops, white bottoms, sunglasses, and bandanas to finish their look off.
Miley Cyrus showed up in a sheer black maxi dress with some sequin embellishments. She pulled her look together by adding simple black strappy heels and red lipstick. Cyrus always knows how to dress for the occasion, making herself stand out amongst many other celebrities.
It is safe to say that Jaden Smith was the best dressed at the VMA’s, I mean can we talk about that jacket? The boxy multi-colored jacket, paired with the matching colorful, chunky sneakers, and a slim pair of jeans makes him an icon. His outfit is so effortlessly simple yet gives off an end of summer, happy vibes.
Ariana Grande posed in a black leather dress and chunky white booties. Her look gave off Batwoman vibes, and we are here for it. She left her classic single ponytail behind and added two instead.
