Ooo La La: Lady Gaga’s New Eyeshadow Palette

It’s a bittersweet day for Lady Gaga fans here at The Edge, as Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett’s final album together came out last week. Love for Sale highlights Gaga and Bennett’s inseparable friendship with a true jazz vibe that we can all appreciate.

Bennett was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2017, shortly after he and Gaga’s first album, Cheek to Cheek came out. Gaga knew she wanted to finish a second album with him, so over the past two years, they’ve worked tirelessly to get this album done. They performed together for the last time at Radio City Music Hall earlier last month.

In brighter news, Lady Gaga’s makeup company, Haus Laboratories, has come out with a new eyeshadow palette titled Love for Sale, in honor of the new album release. Haus is donating $1 from every palette sold to Exploring the Arts, an organization focusing on keeping the arts in schools, co-founded by Tony Bennett.

Gaga’s palette has 18 shades inspired by the timeless glam look. They’re all super pigmented and have 4 different finishes: matte, metallic, shimmer and sparkle. Because of the diversity of the palette’s colors, there are so many options for eye makeup looks.

For a neutral smokey eye we recommend using I’ve Got You Under My Skin, a light matte brown, So in Love, a deep cool matte brown, and Love for Sale, a cool bronze metallic with multidimensional sparkle.

For a bolder look, we recommend using I Get a Kick Out of You, a matte rose, Just One of Those Things, a metallic amethyst purple with multidimensional sparkle, and Let’s Do It, a rich matte black infused with gold pearl. We’re loving this fun eyeliner look to go along with the flashy purple eyeshadow.

We love the way Lady Gaga has worked to honor her friendship with Tony Bennett. While it may be the end of an era with their final album coming out, we will always be huge Gaga fans, especially because of her passion for philanthropy.
