See More, Do More, Feel More: Inspiring Wanderlust

Over our vast traveling experiences, we’ve learned many things. Most importantly, how we wouldn’t be the same without them.  Traveling isn’t only about going to a place, but about experiencing that place as well. Travel isn’t defined by a 15-hour plane ride to a tropical place you’ve never been before, and neither is adventure. In fact, it’s about much more. Travel is about a longing: to do more, see more and feel more. It’s easy to forget just how good this feeling is when caught up in the midsts of our day to day lives, but there are some ways to keep your spark for adventure alive:

Quotes

Daily affirmations have proven to be a helpful tool in overcoming the obstacles that we face frequently. Affirmations of love, peace, tranquillity and much more. To combat our struggle to see past the day to day, we often turn to quotes; specifically those that can leave a light in you and leave you wanting to explore. Here are some that left us wanting to delve deeper and search for that sense of adventure within ourselves:

“In 20 years you will be more disappointed by what you didn’t do than by what you did.” - Mark Twain

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” - Saint Augustine

“We wander for distraction but travel for fulfillment.” - Hildaire Bollack

“Life itself is a privilege. But to live life to the fullest - well, that is a choice.” - Andy Andrews

Pinterest

Some may say we are years behind, still stuck in the Pinterest days, but we believe that it never gets old. A tool often overlooked and a hub of all things, Pinterest’s entire purpose is to be used as a center for inspiration. The search bar is the limit, and there is a lot you can type! Whether you broadly search “travel” or add your own spin on it, you’re given a methodical mess of pictures, quotes, travel guides and more to leave you wanting to teleport anywhere and everywhere.

It’s important to never let your mind suffer the consequences of the stress that comes from being stuck in the daily drainage of our enthusiasm, creativity and desire. Especially amidst the pandemic, finding this feeling was never easy. Hopefully from here on out, you’ll never lose that feeling again.
