Your guide to Scorpio season 2021
As of last Wednesday, we have officially entered Scorpio season. This essentially means that the sun has moved into the eighth sign of the zodiac, Scorpio. Scorpio is a water sign which encourages us to explore the depths of our emotions while fostering intimacy, drive, and control. Regardless of your astrological sign, this Scorpio season will be defined by transformation. It is natural to experience growing pains during this time; the only way out is through, so use this Scorpio season as an opportunity to reflect inwards and determine what personal fears or anxieties may be hindering your growth. If you power through the challenges that this season presents, you will emerge a stronger and wiser individual.
A major reason that Scorpio’s energy is so powerful is that it is ruled by two celestial bodies; Pluto and Mars. Mars is the planet of desire, passion, energy, and ambition. Pluto, on the other hand, is considered to be the planet of creative destruction and often brings about rebirth and evolution. The energy of these two planets combines to make the Scorpio season one of reflection and struggle, both of which are key to personal transformation.
Around October 30th, the sun in Scorpio will be squaring Saturn in Aquarius. This may result in feelings of burnout, and you may be overburdened with work, pessimistic, and low in energy. The best way to overcome this challenging period is to persevere through, and it may be helpful to channel the energy of the season, as Scorpios are all about digging their heels in and getting shit done. It is also equally important that you are mindful of your needs during this period, and we recommend you conclude a productive day with some self-care and relaxation.
On November 4th, the new moon in Scorpio will be opposing Uranus, the planet of rebellion and unexpected change. This may cause shake-ups and unexpected events, while also bringing about the spirit of rebellion and individuality. This will be a good time for bold self-expression, while also giving you the opportunity to exercise your adaptability. Remember to embrace change and remain open to any opportunities that may present themselves during this period.
Scorpio season’s full moon will occur on November 19th and will coincide with a lunar eclipse in its opposite sign, Taurus. During this period, the cosmos will release all the changes that have been building up over the course of the past year. Those who have most resisted these changes will feel this energy shift the most. If you have been craving change, November 19th will be the opportune time to initiate it. This period will be a sort of breaking point and can be used as an opportunity to let go of that which no longer serves you. It may be emotional and difficult if you are not willing to undergo and embrace the changes which have occurred in your life recently, but overcoming these difficulties will be a step towards a meaningful shift.
