Recap: House of Gucci Premiere looks
The House of Gucci, which releases November 24th, is one of the most anticipated films of the year! Few fashion houses are as famous as Gucci, and even fewer have as cinematic a creation story as theirs! From greed to murder, the house of Gucci story was made to be a movie! Janty Yates, the film's costume director, certainly had her work cut out for her to bring together pieces that tell the story of the Gucci family while maintaining the stunning designs that go with the fashion dynasty. But the fashion brilliance isn’t just on the screen, the cast of the upcoming film have been strutting their red carpet premieres in looks that wow! Below are just a few of the iconic show stopping looks worn by an equally iconic cast!
Although her looks in the film were pulled from the Gucci archives, Lady Gaga showed up in a dress fresh off the runway in a violet, Gucci, silk gown from Gucci's Love Parade fashion show. As if the bold violet color wasn't enough of a show stopper, her dress was also paired with a chiffon cape and accessorized to perfection!
Like Gaga, Jared Leto's premiere look did not disappoint! The actor showed up to the red carpet in a sapphire blue velvet suit with a shawl lapel, which he paired with white boots, a silver clutch, and a gorgeous diamond necklace!
Salma Hayek, who plays the fortune telling friend to Gaga's Patrizia, walked the carpet in a gorgeous floor-length, golden Gucci lamè V-neck dress. The gown was paired with a beautiful necklace and bracelet from Gucci’s Hortus Deliciarum line!
If her first look wasn’t show stopping enough, Lady Gaga was once again a show stopper at the Milan premiere! The star decided to switch up her fashion dynasties by wearing a custom Atelier Versace gown. Her dress was made of bright red enver silk satin and included a corset-style bodice and a long train with a slit cut in the front. To top it off the actress paired it with some gold jewelry and a dark smokey eye look!
