Bringing Your Winter Jackets Into Spring

So we stocked up all fall and winter long on the newest, trendiest jackets . . . to what? Just throw them in the back of our closets until next fall?? We don’t think so. At The Edge, we know we dropped a hard-earned-penny on some of our favorite new jackets and you better believe we’ll be incorporating them into our spring wardrobes somehow. We’re going to show you some of our favorite ways to style four of our favorite jackets ever.

So, leather blazers were all the rage this winter and we want them to live on through warmer months ahead. Of course, this applies to all leather blazers of all styles and colors! Our favorite way to wear this piece in the spring is over a dress or jumpsuit. If it’s too hot out, you can just throw the jacket over your shoulders instead of wearing the sleeves! Chef’s kiss.

Trench Coat

In true European fashion, we believe trench coats are made for every season. Throw a trench coat over a nice outfit, or thanks to Pinterest, we can even step up any casual sweats-look with a trench.

Preppy Blazer

Obviously blazers are always an essential in the workplace, but we can dress them down at any season as well! Our favorite way to wear blazers right now is actually with simple bike shorts and a tank—can’t take all the credit for this look though, we stole it from Princess Polly’s site!

Classic Leather

At The Edge, we believe a classic leather jacket is ALWAYS in season. I mean, is there any more staple piece than a leather jacket?? The answer is no. We could go on and on about how to style a leather jacket for spring, but our best advice is to try it on with absolutely anything! You’d be surprised at how much a leather jacket goes with.
