On this season of The Bachelor, we were introduced to the Manhattan trendsetter and fashion icon, Kit Clementine Keenan. Her Sex and the City lifestyle and to-die-for fashion on this season made her a household name in the Bachelor Nation.
Kit is most well-known as being the daughter of famous designer, Cynthia Rowley. Dubbed as a “socialite” on the show, she is more than a Carrie Bradshaw or Gossip Girl character. Keenan is a business owner of her brand Kit, a title inspired by her name but also an acronym for a phrase she lives by, “keep it together.” The brand sells a collection of streetwear fashion staples and graphic hoodies that are a must-have if looking for comfort and exclusive style. Keenan, now a senior at NYU studying business and fashion, has been developing her brand since freshman year.

Kit’s well-famed mother and unique upbringing have set her in the limelight of the fashion world. Cynthia Rowley started her journey as a New York City designer when she launched her capsule collection in 1988. She then launched her career with $3,000 in seed money from her grandmother, slowly developing the greatly successful brand Cynthia Rowley of womenswear fashion and accessories. Her brand is built on the philosophy that fashion should be an adventure. The brand’s signature “pretty-meets-sporty” style is meant to be ready-to-wear for the active and adventurous woman. Sustainability is important to her brand, as she develops limited quantities of every piece in the collection to avoid excess inventory.
Already a fashion industry veteran, Keenan has used her time on ‘The Bachelor’ and on social media to develop her brand, posting fashion inspiration and sponsored photos that are girly, fun and free-spirited for walking the city streets. Not to mention, her red-carpet-ready looks on this season of ‘The Bachelor’ from cocktail parties to farmhouse group dates, Keenan is one to watch.
