Drugstore Makeup Products You Need in Your Life
I love makeup, but sadly my wallet does not. As a college student who is already breaking her bank trying to stay up with the latest fashion trends, I cannot afford to spend $50 on a concealer. Luckily for me and you, we don’t have to.
Drugstore makeup allows us to still look our best while not having to worry about spending your whole paycheck at once. Here are 3 of my absolute favorite drugstore products.
The first product is one that is my absolute go-to and will forever be a staple in my collection: L’oréal Telescopic mascara. There is no other mascara that is able to make my tiny lashes look so full and luscious. My eyelashes have always been short and boring and no matter how many different serums and mascaras I try, they never look the way that I want them to. That is until I found this product. I put on three coats and I could have sworn I was wearing false eyelashes. The only complaint I have is that the first couple times I tried it, it came out a bit clumpy and I was worried my lashes would stick together all day. However, after two to three uses this problem went away and now I have my most desired eyelash look. You all seriously need to invest in this product.
2. Maybelline Fit Me liquid concealer
The second product I have to talk about is my holy grail that I have been using since middle school. There is only one concealer I will buy and it is the Maybelline Fit Me liquid concealer. They have nine shades and I switch between two depending on my tan. This concealer blends so well under my eyes and does not appear patchy or dry out my skin. My under eye area is very sensitive and a lot of concealers can irritate it. But not this one! I truly recommend this concealer to anyone who loves a bright, smooth under eye look without spending a fortune.
3. Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer
The last product I am going to mention is my favorite bronzer. It can be tricky to find a good drugstore bronzer because a lot of them will not blend well and can leave your face looking muddy. Luckily, I found one that keeps me looking tan and glowy all day: Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer. It is only six dollars at Target and is a great dupe for Hoola Beauty’s bronzer. It applies smoothly and then blends into your skin beautifully, giving you the perfect bronzy appearance.
