Source Unknown is a women's clothing store that was recently founded in March 2020. They strive to design trendy pieces that will also last in your closet season after season. Source Unknown has luxe-looking clothing but aims to make it at an affordable price. If you take a look at the website or Instagram, their pieces are undeniably fashionable and creative.
As trustworthy as a brand may appear, it can be nerve-racking ordering from a new store, and online shopping can be tricky in general. Luckily we’re here with all the details you need to know.
QUALITY AND PRICING
Your online shopping cart for Source Unknown will not be like your average cart at H&M or Zara. A majority of the basic tops are around $50, and a pair of jeans is around $80. However, Source Unknown fulfills their promise that they’ll create classy designs for reasonable prices. Their items might be pricier than your favorite big brand, but the designs are unique, and the quality is durable. If you spend a little more money at Source Unknown, you might appear more sophisticated, and the clothes will last longer in your closet.

SIZING
An evolving positive change in the fashion industry is inclusive sizing. In the past few years, many brands have embraced this trend, and we’ve seen the term more and more. One downside to Source Unknown is that they are not inclusive with their sizing, with most tops and dresses as one size fits all, and most pants only coming in small or medium sizes. From our experience, the “one size” fits like a medium. Their limited sizes are frustrating and restrict them from reaching a wider audience.
SHIPPING
When going to check out, you are likely to be prompted to pay $15 for two-day shipping. Know that this only applies once it gets to the carrier, DHL. Source Unknown customer service says that orders may take up to a week to process, but it can take 2 or 3 weeks until delivery from our experience. The long wait is frustrating, but Source Unknown customers are active and respond to emails within 24 hours.
Overall, there are ups and downs to Source Unknown. The clothes are dreamy and for a fair price, but they may not come as fast as you need, and the biggest downside, the sizing may not accommodate your needs. It's a trendy brand that can continue to grow, so hopefully, they will expand their sizing options in the future.
