Our Favorite Looks from the 2021 VMAs

MTV’s Video Music Awards are of course all about honoring the best in the music and artists, but we thought we’d take some time to honor the fashion of the night too. This year’s VMAs took place on September 12th at the Barclays Center in New York City. The venue was filled with the world’s most famous and talented artists dressed to the nines. So who rocked the red carpet? We’ve picked out our three favorites below:

Olivia Rodrigo

The young pop star was pretty in pink with a strapless Versace pink gown detailed in a purple sheer wrap. It fit her perfectly and she was absolutely show-stopping. The best part of her outfit? Her dangling butterfly earrings. It was the only accessory she wore, which was a great decision on her part! Any other accessories would have overdone the look and taken the attention away from the beautiful gown and shimmering earrings. Olivia definitely left an impression at her first VMAs with this gorgeous look.

Jack Harlow

The rapper showed out on the red carpet in a dark green leather suit by Tommy Hilfiger. The shade of green was one to remember and photographed nicely. The entire outfit stood out without being too out there. He kept it simple and classy by wearing minimal accessories and pairing the suit with a black turtleneck. The sole of his black shoes was the same color as the suit, tying the entire look together.

Madison Beer 

The singer looked beautiful in a Dolce & Gabbana lace-up corset dress. She paired the dress with minimal and elegant jewelry, leaving all eyes for the dress. One fun fact about the dress - it’s been worn before! Twice actually… Kat Graham and Beyonce wore the exact same dress years ago. The dress itself comes from Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring-Summer 2003 collection, so dare we say Madison went with a vintage look for this year's VMAs? Either way, all three ladies have worn the dress fabulously and Madison kept the tradition going.
