European Fashion Profile: Ashlee Hamer

Ashlee Hamer is a junior studying abroad this fall semester in Copenhagen, known for their classy, minimalistic style. Ashlee takes us through her weekly outfit guide and what it is like to bring in her accustomed style into Danish fashion.

For Ashlee, her style has changed a lot since being abroad. A classic staple piece that she wears almost daily is her black leather jacket. So chic and timeless! If you don’t have your eye on a leather jacket this season, it might be a good idea to add one to your shopping cart! 

Who doesn’t love to throw on leggings and a sweatshirt to class? The Danes... because they are dressed to the nines. Ashlee bought her first pair of trousers and her mom swears that she will never look at them again when she’s back in America. 

Starting off the week strong, Ashlee wore a plain white tee, a black leather jacket, and neutral trousers. She accessories this look by adding a black structured purse and platform white sneakers. How could you not love this look? 

It is already fall season in Copenhagen, so she is ready for class wearing a pair of light denim jeans with an olive green sweater. Many more looks of chunky sweaters and comfortable jeans in the near future! 

Nobody ever wants to let go of summer sundresses and short sleeve t-shirts right? The majority of Ashlee’s clothes are from Zara, and lucky for her, she has one five minutes away from her classes! Talk about an after-school shopping spree. 

Ashlee still incorporates her style that is filled with ruffles and color, but she appreciates the simplicity of the Danish style. A black blouse is a wardrobe must-have. 

A few key pieces can transform your entire wardrobe. This fall season we predict that a staple item is leather pants. Ashlee is ahead of the trends wearing a nude halter blouse and white platform sneakers. 

LBD? Say less.
