The Fashion Statement of Going Red
Jaws dropped when Kendall Jenner stepped foot on Prada’s runway in Milan, debuting her crimson locks. But the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star isn’t the only celebrity bold enough to embrace this new look. It-girls like Zendaya and Sophie Turner have also taken part in the growing trend, but what does that mean for everyone else? Is red the new blonde?
While changing your hair color takes tremendous confidence, changing it to red is a whole new level. With only 2% of the world’s population having naturally red hair, you are bound to make a statement with your new red locks.
Quite honestly, having ginger-tinted hair might be the only statement you need in an outfit. In the photo below, you can see Kendall Jenner agrees; wearing just a basic white tank paired with a button-up denim skirt, she only needs her red hair to pop.
In fact, ever since Kendall Jenner debuted her new hair at Paris Fashion week, she has only been seen in simplistic and chic looks. So, one could infer all she needs is her new fiery locks to make any outfit a statement.
What do you think? Would you ever dye your hair red? Here at The Edge, we are already booking our hair appointments!
