Shows to Fill the Euphoria Void

Euphoria had viewers in a chokehold for the entirety of season two, and it’s safe to say pretty much at a loss for what to watch next after the finale. After looking forward to a new episode each week, we were left with some free time- so why not start a new show to binge! Of course there’s always something else we could be doing, but ignoring all our responsibilities and laying in bed is way more fun. So here’s a list of some potential new shows to fill the tv void that Euphoria left behind.

Inventing Anna

Newly released in February, this show follows Russian-born Anna Sorokin while she roams New York City, attempting to con wealthy members of society into believing that she is a German heiress. With this new status of hers, she begins receiving loads of gifts, money and services- all of which she puts towards opening an exclusive art themed club. Although there are only nine episodes, the show is produced by Shonda Rhimes and inspired by a true story. It’s the perfect show for all aspiring NYC girl bosses.

Good Girls

While this is not a new show, it deserves to be talked about more. A crime-comedy drama, this is perfect for all those crime tv junkies - you know who you are. It follows three suburban mothers who are having money troubles. Wanting to do something about it they plan a supermarket heist, and find themselves far deeper than they ever could have imagined.

Yellowstone

Yellowstone has been around since 2018, and was just renewed for a fifth season. A fun family show, it follows the Duttons, who live on “the Yellowstone” which is the largest ranch in Montana. The show follows the family and their endeavors living in Montana. With an excellent cast, it's definitely a must watch.
Manifest

If we could only recommend one show to watch- hands down it's this one. Being added to Netflix in 2021, this show topped the charts at the end of quarantine. It follows passengers and crew members who were on a flight that mysteriously disappeared and were presumed dead. When the flight lands, passengers are informed that five years have passed while they were in the air. The show follows their journey trying to reintegrate into society, and realizing that they are not the same- and neither are those around them. 11/10, can't recommend enough.

Blacklist

Another fan favorite and must watch for those crime fanatics. With nine seasons this show never ends- and we don’t want it to. Raymond Reddington, a high profile criminal voluntarily surrenders himself to the custody of the FBI. He claims to have a list of the most dangerous criminals, ones the FBI has been trying to catch for years. He is willing to surrender the list, in exchange for immunity from prosecution, but only if he can work with FBI rookie Elizabeth Keen. The show follows their endeavors and relationship as they catch these criminals.

While these may not rank as high as Euphoria, they are worth the watch and will satisfy that tv craving. Let us know what you think!
