Everything We Know About Hailey Bieber’s New Skincare Line, Rhode
Yes, the rumors are true–Hailey Bieber is entering the very crowded celebrity beauty industry. In preparation of the launch of her new skincare line, she has dropped several social media hints. On April 7, she announced the launch date in an Instagram post, unveiling the logo and visual identity for the brand.
The caption of her post read, “See you in June!” and Bieber encouraged followers to sign up at rhodeskin.com for more details. She also appeared on the cover of Allure’s May 2022 issue, providing extensive details about the brand, and even admitted that she was fearful about the venture. “The market is so busy and so saturated. And I’ve had to, obviously, have the confidence in myself and in our brand to really feel it’s going to be something refreshing and different.”
Rhode is centered around hydration and natural beauty. Hailey tried multiple skincare products, ranging from crazy expensive to inexpensive to mid-range. She found that the most tried-and-true products were the solidly formulated ones that were also affordable. She also confirmed that a few lucky makeup artists already tried and approved the product. CHANEL makeup artist Nina Park tagged Rhode in an Instagram of Hailey’s beauty routine, which is on the dewier side and matches the glazed donut aesthetic she teased in her Instagram post.
Rhode is not only surprisingly affordable, as each product is under $30, but it is inspired by the women in Bieber’s life. She shared with Allure, “I just could always remember my mom, as a child, getting [me] out of the bath, drenching me head to toe. [She was] very focused on keeping my skin healthy.” For growing up in Arizona, the dry dessert heat makes having hydrated skin absolutely essential.
