Springing into New Trends

When spring comes, some of the best fashion trends come with it. 2022 has seen many interesting trends ranging from Euphoria outfits to waisted blazers. Spring brings designer fashion shows from Dior, Ralph Lauren, and Chanel, and new outfits from celebrities with all the award shows. Of course, we have seen many trends come and go throughout the year, but at The Edge, we can safely say that the styles we will see in the spring will be some of the most interesting.

To start, miniature everything is coming back. We saw mini skirts, mini dresses, and mini shorts were a huge trend in the early 2000s. Then the switch was made to longer, baggier clothing. This spring, Miu Miu has come out with a new low rise and extremely short skirt. They look like skirts that are just pants with the legs cut off. The trend also comes with a matching top that is surprisingly longer than the skirt. At The Edge, we are excited to see how people style this trend and if it will last in the fashion world.

The woven heeled sandal trend has been huge during the fall of 2021 and will continue to take over many people's feet in the spring. Except now, they are more colorful, embracing the pastels. In addition, strappy sandals with the same kind of puffy style are also becoming extremely popular. Although many designer companies are manufacturing these shoes, you can find them on Amazon, Steve Madden, and Marc Fisher. These types of shoes go with anything and can dress up or dress down an outfit. They are definitely a top pick from everyone at The Edge.

The last trend that we are most excited about is the color of spring, purple. To be more specific, soft lilac. The color has been seen on many different types of clothing with an assortment of patterns. Zebra prints are huge at the moment and will continue to be seen throughout this spring. Lilac looks beautiful on anything and anyone and everyone at The Edge is looking forward to seeing how people wear this amazing color!
