Being in the public eye with no privacy, it is easy to put on a full face of makeup. Lizzo first posted herself with no makeup in December of 2021, shocking the world as one of the first people to show off her true self. Lizzo is known for her bright, vibrant makeup looks showing off all different shades of color. Ever since the pandemic, many people have stuck to simple steps in their morning routines. Now, it’s the easier the better, making the makeup application a breeze. Lizzo’s makeup artist Tommy Napoli told Allure Magazine that “natural-looking makeup looks are expected to rule in the coming months and beyond.” A simple makeup look is not something the Edge would see or expect from Lizzo, which makes this trend popular and intriguing to follow. “I'm really into my skin looking naked,” Lizzo says. “I'm trying to honor that my skin looks so good now and rock it.”
