Chic’s Peak: It’s Fashion Week

It may only be fall but over the past month, spring’s most elite runway looks have been springing into action. In New York, London, Milan and Paris, over 100 designers debuted their Spring 2024 Ready-to-Wear collections with elaborate shows that wowed even the toughest of crowds. From Camila Morrone decked in tweed at Chanel to Elle Fanning rocking an acrylic corset at Alexander McQueen, our favorite A-list celebrities were all in attendance and front row for this season’s breathtaking unveiling. From sheer draping and blush pink silhouettes to beautiful bows, these spring collections are decadent, dreamy and everything in between. Although nearly impossible, we have narrowed down our favorite six collections, and we know you are going to adore them just as much as we do.

ZimmermanN

Nicky Zimmermann and the rest of the creative team at Zimmermann filled the runway in Paris’s Palais de Tokyo with effervescent florals, bold pops of red and muted pastels. This collection is simply a masterpiece on its own. Zimmermann never fails to create the most exquisite and delicate pieces, and this collection may just be their best one yet.

Carolina Herrera

The Whitney Museum of Art was graced with 61 breathtaking looks last month  by Carolina Herrera. The collection included lots of patterned neutrals with pops of lilac, bubblegum pink and the dreamiest buttercup yellow, an ever-so quintessential palette for spring. The fusion of various textiles and silhouettes seamlessly blend together, presenting yet another exquisite assortment of gowns sure to captivate those fortunate enough to witness their allure.

Tory Burch

Tory Burch can truly do it all, and her latest work is proof of it. Each piece is perfectly crafted to encapsulate her eclectic aesthetic, perfectly fitting for the everyday playful and dynamic woman. With this collection, Ms. Burch blended neutrals and a muted mossy green with pops of daffodil yellow and an iconic bubblegum tone that we cannot get enough of. The looks are modest yet intriguing, a perfect match if you ask us.

Giambattista Valli

Giambattista Valli can do no wrong, and we stand by this statement. Arguably our favorite collection this season, Valli has crafted yet another series of mesmerizing looks that are so intricate and enchanting. It would not be a true Valli runway without his signature voluminous tulle gowns that are truly the dreamiest dresses we have ever laid eyes on. The bows are the most delightful embellishment to tie together each silhouette, leaving us anxiously awaiting his next outstanding creation.

Christopher Esber

Esber may be a newer face to the catwalk, but rest assured he is a seasoned professional when it comes to craftsmanship and creativity. The Australian designer has been tailoring eye-catching designs with a minimalistic essence since 2010, unveiling ornate yet sophisticated looks that will turn any head upon first glance. He solves a seemingly impossible equation by making each piece, unique in its own sense, seamlessly flow into the next. We have no idea how he executes it all so well.

Valentino

And last but certainly not least, we have the one and only Valentino. Our beloved Pierpaolo Piccioli has curated a gorgeous collection that encapsulates the spirit of modern elegance and celebrates the vibrant nature of his vision of femininity with such captivating designs, intricate embroidery and surprisingly nonchalant accessorizing. Under the École des Beaux-Arts, there was no better venue to reveal such a riveting masterpiece — and to that, we say grazie and bravo, Piccioli.

While we may not have been in attendance at Fashion Week this year, we can still admire these stunning collections from our screens. There truly is no other time like Fashion Week, reminding us of the hard work, creativity and utter passion of all of these beyond talented designers.  We hope you adore these collections just as much as we do.
