All Hail the Queen B(eckham)

Whether you know her as Posh Spice, Mrs. David Beckham or for her luxury fashion label, Victoria Beckham has been the ultimate it-girl since the ‘90s — and our ultimate style guru for sophistication and elegance. In honor of the new Netflix docuseries “BECKHAM,” we’re taking a glimpse at VB’s very best looks over the years because let’s be honest — we just can’t get enough of our queen Victoria.

We’re taking a trip down memory lane with this iconic look that VB wore at a Spice Girls concert in Cannes in 1997. Over 20 years later, this chocolate suede jumper is still a piece that we still absolutely adore and all need in our closets.

This look is one of many that paved the way for Posh’s trademark LBD era, the perfect pairing to her signature little bob that we still can’t seem to get over. From the sheer silhouette to the thigh high slit, everything about this dress is just brilliant, and it’s one of our favorite VB looks of all time.

The Spice girls won Best Group at the 1997 MTV Europe Music Awards, and their trophy wasn’t the only thing sparkling that night. VB was dazzling in this little gold mini dress that she styled with a sleek black headband and patent leather platform Mary Jane heels — yet another phenomenal look in the pop star phase.

Victoria must’ve known how much everyone loved her in gold the first time because she pulled out the glitz and glamor once again for a dinner hosted for the Beckham’s by Anna Wintour back in 2002. We’d be lying if we said we wouldn’t die for a seat at the table for this meal and for a chance to wear this incredible look.

Arguably Britain’s (and, in our opinion, possibly the world’s) most stunning couple, the Beckhams sure know how to dress and to put on quite the spectacle. The couple wowed the 2014 Met Gala in all white, with David wearing Ralph Lauren and Victoria debuting this gown from her very own 2014 Pre-Fall collection. The Beckham’s truly are a force to be reckoned with and will forever be our OTP.

In yet another all-white outfit, Victoria has proven once again that she can turn any ordinary outfit into an extraordinary elevated masterpiece. With a lengthy lookbook of all-white ensembles, it's no secret that she loves the monochromatic look. However, she isn’t afraid to throw in a pop of color, like she did with this fit for an outing out in Paris back in 2018.

And last but certainly not least, we have Victoria’s jaw-dropping gown for her son Brooklyn’s wedding to Nicola Peltz last year. Inspired by Studio 54, Beckham and her design director Lara Barrio crafted this dress from a silky metallic textile which was layered in hand-sewn lace to top it off. We would expect nothing less from VB for her son’s big day, creating a sensational work of art that we can’t help but to swoon over.

From British pop star to luxury designer, Victoria Beckham is as close as one can be to Superwoman, and there is no stopping her anytime soon. We hope you love these VB looks just as much as we do. We can’t wait to see what she has in store for us for the future. Xx, The Edge.
