3 Picture-Perfect Spots in Paris
Are you planning a summer trip to Europe and hoping to hit Paris? Whether you are spending a day, weekend or week in this famously romantic city, we highly recommend that you add these three spots to your itinerary! While we all know the iconic and must see locations to visit in Paris such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, we have a few spots to add to your list if you’re in need of the perfect photo.
1. Tuileries Garden
After spending time admiring art at the Louvre, we recommend that you head across the street for a stroll through the Tuileries Garden in the 1st Arrondissement. This historic park is lined with trees and filled with flowers. Throughout the park are large fountains with plenty of chairs to sit in, along with beautiful green spaces and sculptures. The garden is also surrounded by incredible Parisian buildings. While walking through the garden, you can find tons of picture-perfect spots to capture the moment.
2. Musée de l'Orangerie
On the other side of the Tuileries Garden is the Musée de l'Orangerie, an art gallery featuring impressionist and post-impressionist paintings. This includes Claude Monet’s “The Water Lilies,” the famously long oil paintings that you can spend hours looking at. These gorgeous paintings also make great backdrops for photos, which you will see tons of tourists doing. If you are an art lover, this museum is an absolute must see!
3. Palais-Royal
Also located in the 1st Arrondissement of Paris is the Palais-Royal, a former royal palace and garden that you have probably seen all over Instagram. Its courtyard is filled with black and white striped columns of different heights that make a fun photo opportunity. After admiring the stunning Parisian architecture of the main building, you can find a column to stand on to take some aesthetic pictures in the courtyard! After taking photos, you can walk through the courtyard’s peaceful garden and find a place to sit and people watch.
This chic and historic city has so much to offer and so many places to explore. We hope that you add these photogenic spots to your itinerary on your next trip to Paris!
