What’s in Our Fall Beauty Bag

As the season for apple picking and pumpkin spice fast approaches, so does the urge to switch up our makeup looks. This fall, the “toasted” look is in! So pack your beauty bags with shimmery bronzer, terracotta blush and rich berry lippies, because warm tones are the way to go this autumn. We at The Edge want to make your shopping trip easier, so here are the must-have products to achieve this look.

The Flawless BasE

This season, we’re looking to achieve a base that encapsulates “your skin but better,” and there’s no better way to do that than by using the viral Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation. As for concealer, we always opt for the fan favorite Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer to give your skin the most natural, glowy finish.

Blonzer

After you’ve mastered the flawless base, it’s time to bring some color back. But haven’t you heard? We’re “blonzing” this season! You might be wondering… what is “blonzing”? Well, we no longer need two products to achieve the sculpted, warm blushed look—we just need one: a warm-toned blush. So throw away your peachy-pinks, because this is the season for the burnt terracotta blushes. Some of our favs here at The Edge are Rhode’s Pocket Blush in shade Toasted Teddy, Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Blush in shade Worth and Saie’s Dew Blush in shade Spicy.

Toasted Lippies

Here at The Edge, we always have a lip product on hand. Whether it’s a gloss, liner or oil, we’re always stocked and ready. This season, though, we’re shifting away from the light pinks and opting for rich berry tones and browns. Don’t be intimidated, a neutral, deep lip is essential for tying together the toasted look. So here’s how to achieve the look. Start with the liner; our personal favorite is the Glossier Lip Liner in Shade Flush. Next, we apply a gloss over top, and there is no better product than the Merit Signature Lipstick in the shade Ginger to layer. Finally, we finish the look with a gloss. A clear gloss would finish off the look perfectly, but if you’re looking for a more nude-colored lip, we highly recommend the Saie Glossybounce Lipgloss in the shade Push.
