Everything You Need To Know About Heatless Curls
It’s no surprise to anyone that heat is damaging to your hair. But if you’re just like us and are addicted to scrolling through TikTok, you know those blow-out curls can be achieved without using heat. There are endless ways to wake up with curls in your hair and I’m sure you already know the basics, like sleeping with your hair in a braid, but we’re here to share some of our favorite and most successful ways to wake up with salon-styled-looking hair!
Luxy X Acquired Style Heatless Curler Set
$35
A newer, but very well-loved product, is the collaboration between Acquired Style and Luxy Hair. This heatless curler set comes with a thick, comfy ribbon to wrap your hair around to create those curls, a scrunchie set to secure the ends of your hair in place, a claw clip to keep the ribbon in place and a drawstring pouch for storing it all. This heatless curl set is made to be comfortable so you can sleep with it all night and wake up with fresh-looking curls in the morning!
$9.95
These curling rods are perfect for any length and type of hair and are a great cheaper alternative to the first method. Since the rods are thinner and there are multiple of them, they provide your hair with tighter, more secure curls. They are made of soft and lightweight foam which allows you to bend and mold them into different shapes, so you have the freedom to try out any different style curls you want!

If you’ve seen your grandma rock these before, you’re probably thinking “How are these still a thing” and all we can say is… grandma knows what she’s doing; these things work! When it comes to sleeping, the Conair Foam Hair Rollers are definitely a more comfortable alternative over Velcro rollers. Since the rollers themselves are bigger than the curling rods previously mentioned, they create more big and bouncy curls and give your hair more lift and volume. The foam material makes it gentle for your hair and more comfortable to sleep in. You can use them on wet or dry hair, but we think using damp hair works best!
$10.99
I’m sure you have all seen and probably used Velcro rollers before, but are using them right? Lots of people don’t know that you have to pull down the roller to make sure the ends of your hair actually grip into the velcro. They work on damp or dry hair just like the foam rollers, but these rollers come in different sizes allowing you to create variations of loose and tight curls. Tip: when taking these out, don’t brush your hair out after with a hairbrush. Instead, try using a wide-tooth comb or even just your fingers!
These are just a few of the many ways to achieve those blowout-looking curls without actually using heat that we at The Edge think work amazing. Have you tried any of these products out already?
