Headbands, Hats and Handbags

We must  admit, we love a cute basic outfit for everyday activities. You can never go wrong with a white baby tee and wide leg jeans paired with leisurely sneakers. Whether it be going to class, running errands, or meeting a friend for coffee, you can always throw on this classic staple look. With that being said, we hate feeling like our outfit is boring, so we have found some solutions. Yep, you guessed it: the solution to elevating your basics are hats, handbags, and headbands. The “H trio”, if you will.

 Let’s begin by discussing hats. Below are three examples of some that we are loving. 

You can’t tell us you're not obsessed. The red polo hat is a classic chic, trendy and preppy look. The Mountauk hat is perfect for the beach . The Cheetah Yankees Hat? We are speechless. It’s safe to say, Anthropology kills the hat game every single time.. Enough about hats, though, let's talk handbags.

Here’s the thing about handbags: they’re personal, they feel like your child sometimes (especially if they were an investment) and we always have a favorite. Though we could rave about various designer handbags, most of us are balling on a budget. But, “luckily, I have purse” (ideas)

Yes, they are all from Zara. Can you blame us? They are reliable, reasonable, and perfect for every occasion you may have. 

Lastly, let's talk about headbands. For headbands, you can go simple or make a statement. Depending on your mood and the ultimate vibe of the day, you can decide which to go for. Below are a few examples of both classic, simple headbands and statement headbands. 

Now, picture any basic outfit paired with either of those three headbands. Don’t you feel elevated already? Although decently simple, headbands have the capability of adding color and a vibe. If headbands aren’t quite your thing, hats and handbags are at your ready.
