Glossier Product Review

Perfecting Skin Tint:

As someone who likes to wear a full face of makeup I was skeptical about this product. This is a skin tint, meaning it won’t give you the same coverage you get with a foundation. Even when I first applied it on my skin I was doubtful that this would be the product for me. The consistency was much more liquidy than I expected, and because of that I applied it with my fingers instead of a beauty blender (so the sponge wouldn’t absorb the product). As soon as I started blending I realized how impressed I truly was with the skin tint. It’s lightweight formula instantly got rid of my discoloration and redness. It made my skin tone even and left my face looking refreshed and dewy (the radiant dewy, not the just left the gym dewy). This will now be my go-to for a day when I don’t want it to look like I’m wearing lots of makeup. It is perfect for going to classes, running errands, or when you know you’ll be running into cute boys at the gym but don’t want to clog your pores. Winning.

Boy Brow:

Oh boy, where do I even start with this eyebrow gel? Out of all the products I tried this is my absolute favorite. First off, the consistency is unlike any brow product I have ever tried. Boy Brow is made with wax, yes… wax, like what men used to use to hold their mustaches in place. Don’t worry; I thought it was weird too, until I tried it myself. This product is a 3-in-1 weapon. It holds your brows in place, colors them just the right amount, and gives them the shape that they need to be on fleek. The applicator tip isn’t the same size as a mascara wand like it is on other brow products, it’s teeny-tiny which makes it easy to use and allows you to put it only on your brows, not all over your face. If I were to recommend one product out of the ones I have tried, Boy Brow takes the cake.

Haloscope:

It has the word halo in the name for a reason. This highlighter will make you glow like the beautiful angel that you are. The topaz color adds bronze to your face while giving you a perfect (but subtle) highlight. I applied this directly to my skin and it didn’t move my makeup around like some other highlighters can do. I threw it on my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, and under the arch of my eyebrow for a  beautiful finishing touch to my makeup. The combination of the Haloscope with the skin tint is flawless. If you are a lover of the bronzy, glowy, look like I am, this highlighter is right up your alley.
