A Nap a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

In New York City, nap bars are all the rage. Yes, you heard that right—a place that you go and pay to simply take a nap. The mattress company Casper did it as a way to promote their mattresses and what better way to do so than have people test them out. It not only benefits the company, but the napper as well!

In Caspers’ “Dreamery,” it is just like getting ready for bed. Pajamas, coffee, socks and a sleep mask are provided. It is $25 for a 45 minute napping session. That may sound expensive to you, but for all those busy-bodies in the city, 45 minutes are a blessing. The architecture of the Dreamery is space-like, helping you transition from the insanity of the city to a place you can take a deep breath and wind down. Each napping nook is personalized for you with a note on the pillow, and if requested, a certain way to be awoken. Napping sessions can be booked online from 11:30am to 7:00pm each day.

Casper’s Dreamery is the perfect place for weary tourists, stressed busy-bodies or anyone in need of a little time to themselves. So far, the company has received nothing but positive feedback and other companies looking to partner with them. This is the closest thing to sleeping in the city that never sleeps!
