Your Go-To Guide To Traveling In Style

When Miley Cyrus hopped off the plane at LAX with a dream and a cardigan, she wondered if she was going to fit in in the high fashion, trendy sunshine state. We all want to be comfortable during our travels, but does that mean we have to sacrifice looking cute? … No!

While the airport might not be the first place that comes to mind when thinking of places you should be fashionable, I have three surefire ways to be comfortable and stylish on the jetway.

For this look I styled a pair of vintage boyfriend jeans with stars and paint splatters with a super soft black sweatshirt. Jeans and a sweatshirt, whats easier than that? Since I went with a simple sweatshirt, I made the jeans my statement piece of the outfit. The slouchy, relaxed fit makes the jeans cozy so I can enjoy my TV marathon on the plane.

What’s more comfortable than everyone’s go to travel pants? That’s right, sweatpants are everyone’s favorite plane look. The key to getting away with wearing sweatpants in public is all about the fit of the pants! For this look I wore a pair of cropped pink sweats that tapered at the bottom, paired with a black tank and a cropped hoodie.

Look #3:

Whenever i’m getting ready to travel i’m always drawn to wide leg pants. This style of bottoms are soft, comfortable, and feel like pajamas. I pieced them with a cropped grey sweater that has a twist detail in the front. If the plane gets chilly I love to have a cardigan on back-up to keep me warm during my travels.
