DIY Halloween Costumes!

Here are a few staple items for Halloween that will help make your shopping list:

1. A solid color tube top or body suit is great for pairing

A white or light pink body suit can be paired with a tutu to be a ballerina or a skirt with a headband for a unicorn. Here’s one that’s inexpensive!

2. A tutu can also be paired with many costumes to make it more fun and playful

Tutus can be used in character costumes as well as the ones listed above. They are super cheap at Walmart (which is also right down the road if you want to see them in person first!)

3. Glitter always steps up a costume!

Glitter can be added to costumes such as angels, unicorn, aliens, mermaids. Find some at the grocery or craft stores, like Michaels!

4. T-Shirts are a perfect canvas to create your own unique costume

Decorations can be taped onto a t-shirt one night for a costume and then be taken off and used completely differently the next. For example, you could tape black dots to a white shirt and be a Dalmatian one night and then next night tear it up to dress as the purge! Find some at Walmart.

We hope you have a spooky, safe and fun Halloween! If you use any of these tips or tricks, take a picture and tag us @theedgemag!
