Blending Company and Coffee

Blend and Co., often featured on many Elon students’ Instagram and Snapchat stories, is a study spot staple in the greater Burlington community. 

In addition to the fair trade coffee roasted every two weeks from Greensboro’s Fortuna Roasters and vegetable smoothies, Blend and Co. displays a modern aesthetic and embodies a warm, light-hearted atmosphere surrounded by plants and twinkle lights.  

Elon students often come to enjoy the relaxing Blend and Co.in the afternoon and Sunday’s throughout the semester to do homework on the numerous wooden tables or chat on the comfy couches.  

The freshly ground coffee aroma and the natural light enlighten students and local workers. In the heart of downtown Burlington, the artisan coffee shop promotes interaction between Elon University and the Burlington community, helping to break the bubble.

Katy Canada, current employee and member of the graduating Elon class of 2015, made her passion for coffee full-time with Blend and Co. this past February after working throughout her senior year at Elon and graduate school. 

Katy noted she enjoys working in the chill and friendly environment and that Blend and Co. is a community provider in the current growing Burlington town.
