For All You Chocolate Lovers . . .
We all have our guilty pleasures, and if yours is dark chocolate then you’re in luck! Eating dark chocolate in moderation can provide you with many health benefits. Dark chocolate is packed with powerful antioxidants that do great things for your body. It contains anti-inflammatory properties and has been proven to increase blood flow. That means it’s great for your skin, your hair, and can improve brain function by allowing better blood flow to your brain! It’s also a great source of minerals.
Not only is dark chocolate good for you, it’s also super easy to make at home. AND we have the answer to how you can make it in ten minutes using only four ingredients.
Ingredients:
½ cup coconut oil
½ cup cocoa powder
3 tablespoons of honey
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps:
Melt the coconut oil in a pan, then slowly start adding in the other ingredients
Stir the ingredients together until they’re completely mixed. Then pour the mixture into a candy mold or on a tray with parchment paper
Put the chocolate in the fridge and let it set for two hours (or until it’s hardened) and ENJOY!
You can also play around with sprinkling on some of your favorite toppings before putting your chocolate in the fridge. We recommend sea salt, almonds, coconut or dried fruit!
