New Orleans Style Guide

GIRLS TRIP!! Our two favorite words (after new markdowns, of course). No, but seriously, what isn’t there to love about a girls trip? This mini vaca calls for positive energy, a time to kick back, explore, get that BOMB Instagram content, and spend quality time with your favorite chichas.

Let’s get real for a moment - we all know that feeling, while you’re packing for your trip standing in front of your closet staring at what you think is a black hole. I will admit I am guilty of the last-minute express shipment of potential looks to stunt on my trip, but a very stern pep talk calls reality back into check and the packing can begin. Here is some packing inspiration so you can zip your suitcase with confidence for your next girl trip.

For the plane it's comfortable yet still chic, high waisted light wash jeans paired an embroidered t-shirt tucked in secured with a skinny cheetah print belt, and a white cropped sweatshirt to keep warm when the AC decided it doesn’t want to turn off.

Night one, land right in time for a quick outfit change to make it to the 7:30 dinner reservation. With all your clothes nicely packed and organized (if that’s your style at least) your options are presented to you clearly allowing for a pretty seamless change.

Tonight’s look features a rainbow scrunchie top with puffy sleeves worn slightly off the shoulders, parried with classic black Levi’s skinny jeans and strappy white chunky heels.

After a later night than expected, the beginning of the new day presents an exciting opportunity to explore the city.

The day look features a quick and easy sundress, with a sweetheart neckline and puffy sleeves (can you see a trend clearly emerging?) with a flared hem. I accessorized my look with circle sunglasses attached to a gold chain for optimal free hand movement at all times.

Packing tip: Think consciously about versatile shoes. The strappy white chunky heels were optimal for walking around all day but also perfect for dancing the night away.

10,000 steps later (no joke), after admiring a variety of unique and impeccable art, wandering down quaint alley ways, and a fantastic lunch, it’s back to the hotel to chill before dinner.

The second night out on the town calls for a pink mini bodycon dress with a cut out on the mid drift, styled with an oversized cheetah print denim jacket, strappy white chunky heels and a sparkly boa... but that goes without saying.

The last day emits extremely chill vibes. Featuring pink sweatpants, a white cropped sweater and white sneakers.
