Your Release Radar

This past month, it seems as though artists have been coming in hot with new music. Albums and EP’s are being dropped, and artists are leaking their content on social media to signal that new bangers are on the way. This article should give you a good idea of what is out already and what to look out for.

  1. Jesus is King - Kanye West

This is Kanye’s ninth album and was released on October 25th, 2019. The album follows a Christian theme, which is new for Kanye since he has never tackled this genre before. The album is receiving mixed reviews but is making a big impact. If you haven’t listened to the album yet, “Every Hour” and “Selah” are good places to start.

  1. Fine Line – Harry Styles

This will be Harry’s second solo album since leaving One Direction. Harry released “Lights Up” on October 11th, 2019, three weeks before announcing his album would be coming out on December 13th. Even though we do not have a full album yet, “Lights Up” has left everyone wanting more, and we cannot wait to see what the rest of the album holds.

  1. DHL – Frank Ocean

Released on October 19, 2019, “DHL” is a sneak peak of a much anticipated album by Frank Ocean. It is Mr. Ocean’s latest release since his cover of “Moon River” in February of 2018. Frank Ocean has yet to say when the new album will be out, but we cannot wait for what’s to come.

  1. Pony – Rex Orange County

This is Rex’s third album and already his most successful. Gaining popularity in late 2017, Rex has done nothing but blow up in Hollywood. This alternative artist recently posted on social media that “this album has changed my life,” and it has changed ours too. Some favorites from “Pony” are “Face to Face” and “10/10”.
