Celebrity Halloween Review 2019

Halloween is the spookiest time of year when all A-list celebrities showcase their extravagant costumes. 2019 was an extra creepy and outgoing year in the costume department. Let’s check out which celebrities bought their best costume game this year.

1)  Jaclyn Hill

Hill sparked huge conversation with her halloween costume this year about “cancel culture”. Hill talked back to the haters who have said she is “cancelled”. Many comments supported or went against her saying this costume was “dumb and immature”.

Hill’s caption on this post was: “Over the last several years the internet has become more & more cruel & has developed what we now call ‘cancel culture’ not one day has gone by in over 2 years where I have not seen ‘you’re canceled’ online. I wanted to create a look showing the glam side of this industry & the ugly💀So here is it. You want me canceled? You got it baby. And I know my ‘haters’ are going to HATE this costume. But that’s okay, I love you anyway💋.”

2) Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum wows each year at her annual Halloween party. This year, one of her many costumes was a futuristic alien/robot/zombie costume. According to Klum, she started coming up with this costume a full year in advance. This costume took Klum over 6 hours to transform into. Klum posed with her husband Tom Kaulitz as their costumes went hand in hand as a futuristic couple.

3) Gigi Hadid

Hadid dressed up as The Mask. She put a spin onto this classic 1994 Halloween character by adding some highlighter to make it pop. Safe to say we love this look, but who wouldn't?

4) Stormi Webster

Stormi dressed up as none other than her famous mom (Kylie Jenner). Kylie claims that she wanted to dress up as a princess, so of course who other than her mother would she be?! Kylie dressed her daughter in a replica of what she wore to the MET Gala this year. I wonder if Stormi’s dress took months to make also?

4) Lizzo

Truly iconic. After Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” famous hit, she dressed up as DNA test. We love this song and this creative costume by Lizzo. 

5) Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau

Who wore it better? Jake and Tana recreated the classic Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears head-to-toe jean outfits! So creative and priceless. Jake Paul, double denim suits you well. 

6) West Family 

What else do you expect from this family? Kim Kardashian West and her family debuted multiple crazy halloween costumes this year, starting with the Flinstones and also including a creepy bug family portrait. Cute and gross.

7) Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner looked stunning dressed up as Marilyn Monroe. She recreated her famous love picture and looked like an exact replica from hair, lips, to dress. This costume is by far one of our favorites this Halloween.

8) Cardi B

Cardi B dressed up as Poison Ivy. We have never heard of someone dressing up as this plant, but if anyone can do it, Cardi B is the one.

9) Khloe Kardashian

Khloe Kardashian dressed up as Cruella de Vil and dressed her daughter, True Thompson, as a dalmation. Khloe posted this picture on Instagram and edited in tons of Dalmations, which topped it all off.
