Week in Outfits: London, England
London is the incredibly iconic capital city of England. It’s home to some of the most notable landmarks in the entire world. Like most cities, there are some very trendy people who call this place home. There are also, however, a plethora of American students studying abroad here. This week, Ally Disanto, a junior at Elon, sent some of her best looks from her semester here.
Winter Wonderland
“The best part of London in December: Winter Wonderland.
It’s seriously like a British Oktoberfest- music, rides, street food, tents...
I’m wearing my everyday crocodile moto boots with my crocodile Zara bag, Urban Outfitters green bomber jacket & Revice jeans with different washes of denim on each leg.”
Little Venice Canals, London
“Simple white puffer paired with my Italian accessories. I purchased my favorite black beaded layered necklaces and snakeskin crossbody in Rome; they’re the best for adding a fun touch to a black and white outfit.”
Design Museum
“Maxi ruffle cheetah dress w my oversized vintage black denim jacket and go-to black crocodil moto boots. Comfy and cute when I know I’m going to be walking around.”
Victoria Apollo Theatre
“High waisted snake-skin jumpsuit with black Stella McCartney vegetarian leather jacket.
(the theatre culture is so prevalent in London… You have to wear a statement piece/bold outfit for a night at a show when I know I’m gonna be surrounded by electric outfits and energy.”
Camden Markets Hit Different!
“(Obviously pictured with mac n cheese)
My favorite Sunday activity: The Camden Markets. Camden is where the punk era of fashion derived so whenever I go there I’m constantly surrounded by the coolest trends and bold styles. I’m wearing a British inspired preppy plaid Anthropology skirt with a black corset sweater and red shoulder bag.”
