Mostly As: Spend more time with friends and family.

With academics and extracurriculars, or work and obligations, it can be hard to remember that spending time with friends and family is important. Take this new year as an opportunity to remind yourself of that. Scheduling time with the ones you love can be as easy as sending a text and going to lunch!

Mostly Bs: Take up a new hobby.

It can be easy to stick to what you know, but learning new skills can be fun and exciting. This new year can be the start of your new favorite hobby, whether it’s joining a new club, learning how to play a new sport, or going on an outdoors trip.

Mostly Cs: Focus on yourself.

Obligations and responsibility can take time away from time for self-care. Take this new year as an opportunity to remind yourself of self-care’s importance, and resolve to schedule time in your schedule for yourself.

Mostly Ds: Take more risks.

It can be easy to feel so comfortable in a routine that you no longer take risks or do things spontaneously; but, sometimes being spontaneous might be just what you need to inject some excitement in your life. This New Year resolves to push yourself outside of your comfort zone by doing something new.

Mostly Es: Live in the moment more.

When there’s lots to do, looking forward seems necessary to keep everything organized and get things done; but, when you’re always looking forward, it can be easy to miss the happiness right in front of you. Let this New year serve as a reminder to live in the moment and stay present during the moments that make you happy.
