What to Read to Relax as the Semester is Finishing

We are college students juggling a lot of things - from elections, personal life needs, to the rapid ending of classes, we are going through everything at once. At this rate, it’s easy to quickly burn out. It is no joke that we need a break.

Reading has proven multiple times to be beneficial for our health. Multiple studies show that reading improves your memory, heightens brain activity, and helps you live longer. Most importantly, for us right now, reading is beneficial by helping us de-stress and relax.

Throughout these next busy weeks, take  time to read. It is a therapeutic exercise to rest and give our brains a break. We will be listing a few books that can make you stop and temporarily forget about your tasks. Ranging from Jillan Pransky’s “Deep Listening” soothing methods, Sarah Knight's tips to not giving a f**k, to Alexis Daria and Mia Sosa’s page-turner rom-coms, you can either set a time out of your working schedule to pick up a book or you can read before going to bed.
