Emily In Paris
We love this show as it brings us to Paris with an adventurous, stylish and young woman named Emily. This silly show has great jokes, sites, and scenes. Although the acting is not superb, the plot is immaculate! After watching the journey of Emily move to Paris to start a new career in a French firm, we watch her adapt to a new lifestyle in the city of love. After watching this show, we are already booking our flight to Paris for when we can travel safely again.
2. Money Heist
Money Heist is the best crime show to fill you with just enough drama. This show was originally called La Casa de Papel. Money Heist takes you on the adventure of thieves locking themselves inside a bank as they take the workers hostage. Manipulation and crime are throughout the creative and engaging show.
3. Schitt’s Creek
This hilarious 80-episode show follows the life of a family moving from riches to rags. They purchased a small town called Schitt’s Creek as a joke and now have to live there due to money complications. This show is very light, friendly, and a good show to fill your spare time.
4. Shameless
Shameless is one of our favorite shows of all time. This dysfunctional show follows the life of six kids who have to deal with their alcoholic father with various shenanigans. Shameless can be disappointing to watch, but their lives are full of jokes, fun, hardships, and adventure. Once you watch the first episode, you will be hooked.
5. New Girl
New Girl is by far our FAVORITE show on the list. Despite the title, this is not a show only for girls. This hilarious show follows the plot of four roommates as they navigate their life. You will become attached to the actors as their acting is amazing. Jess is one of the main characters who is looking for a place to live and decides to live with three guy strangers. We have binge watched this show five times already.
6. Ozark
Ozark is a show on Netflix that caught viewer’s attention back in April. Jason Batemen plays Marty Byrde, a financial advisor whose family launders money with a Mexican drug cartel. After something goes wrong, Marty proposes to head to the Ozarks to set up a laundering operation. Ozark has been praised for its plot, acting, and writing. The show has received 32 Primetime Emmy Award nominations!
7. Peaky Blinders
Peaky Blinders is definitely worth watching! The show is about Peaky Blinders criminal youth gang and is set in Birmingham, England in 1918. Many people compare the show to Money Heist. This show is very unique and like none of the others we have seen. The beginning can be slow but if you stick with it - it is rewarding.
