Incoming: An Update on the 2020 Met Gala

The last time that we spoke about the Met Gala was last November. It was a world before Covid-19 completely shifted it. Now that everything looks different, what does this mean for the Met Gala? Keep reading for more details on this iconic event! 

What will it look like? 

Unlike previous years, this event will not be filled with your favorite celebrities. Instead, it will feature garments that embody the theme. Sure, this is disappointing but at least audiences will get to see what the board envisioned for this year’s event. 

How can people view it? 

The institute allows interested audiences to buy tickets from the official website. Though this event does not follow the expected format, it keeps a focus on the garments. The main differences are that celebrities are not included and audiences are smaller because of outbreak concerns. Unable to actually attend? What is next year's theme? 

The 2021 theme has yet to be released but who else is  excited to see what it is?
