The Five Best Face Masks Under Five Bucks
Self-care, especially in college, is so important! While I don’t have a bathtub in my dorm or a lot of free time, I’ve found that a quick face mask is a great way to pamper myself and take a little time out of my day to relax!
However, like most college students these days, I definitely don’t have the budget to purchase those boujee masks that flood my Instagram feed. Luckily, there are so many face masks out there that cost less than $5 and work wonders on my skin. Here are my personal favorites:
TONYMOLY I’m Real Sheet Mask
These sheet masks are only $3, and at Urban Outfitters, you can get 2 for $5! They have a variety of different purposes and blends, with my top picks being the brightening lemon and moisturizing aloe masks.
Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask
This detoxifying mask utilizes strawberry and rosemary to deep clean your skin, which is great for minimizing pores and oily skin. With a price mark of just $3, this mask gets the job done and can be used for several spa sessions before it runs out! Plus, the smell is to die for.
SEPHORA COLLECTION Sleeping Mask
While Sephora tends to have the reputation of being pricy, its in-house collection is typically affordable and effective! This sleeping mask is currently on sale for only $2—yep, you read that right. It can be used around four times per container! It’s extremely hydrating and perfect if you only have a few minutes to tend to your skin!
Que Bella Skin Brightening Papaya Peel Off Face Mask
This brand, carried at Target, offers so many face masks at great prices! This is one of my personal favorites, as the peel-off feature is super satisfying, and the mask leaves my skin glowing! The smell is also amazing and definitely makes me feel pampered.
Peach Slices SHRINK PORES Face Sheet Mask
Another brand found on the shelves of Target, Peach Slices, also offers a plethora of different masks, all under $3! Not only is their packaging aesthetically pleasing, but these masks are completely clean by not having any sulfates, parabens, dyes, or added fragrances.
Honorable Mention:
This ORIGINS set is $15, which breaks down to just $5 per mask, and it’s a $28 value! The best part about this set is that every mask can be used more than once. Especially for a more “luxury” brand, this is a great deal!
