Your Outfit Based on Your TV Binges

As we enter what feels like the hundredth week of quarantine—finding new shows to binge watch, completing an overwhelming amount of work and fearing the power of this pandemic—we are assimilating into the new norm. 

Throughout my time quarantined, I’ve been binge watching Sex in the City, Tiger King and Gossip Girl.

Here are some looks that I think each of the main characters would be wearing while quarantined":

Carrie Bradshaw

From countless pairs of Manolo Blahnik strappy sandals to sequin Fendi Baguettes, Carrie Bradshaw is a fashion icon. As her style is very colorful and dramatic, I can see her during quarantine wearing a Gucci belt bag and furry slippers, paired with a cosmopolitan in one hand and a cigarette in another. While sitting at her desk with the window open, Carrie’s looks would include designer T-shirts, low-rise joggers, tank tops and scarves for her hair.

Tiger King

On Tiger King, Carole Baskin, a newly-famous pandemic star, shows her closet filled with animal print clothing. Her quarantine looks would most likely include head to toe cheetah pj’s and sweatsuits, with an occasional flower crown. Biking around, Carole will probably be mistaken for her tigers in these matching animal print sets.

Blair Waldorf

The queen of Constance, Blair Waldorf would not be taking this quarantine situation well. Missing her glamorous life, Blair would probably be dressing up with full makeup, hair and a ballgown to strut into the kitchen for breakfast to meet Dorota. Blair’s quarantine vibe would be fabulous, not letting herself fall out of a routine. Even on her lazy days, silk pajamas and self-care (La Mer products only) are a must to keep her sane.
