Fall Trends You’re About to See Everywhere
As we are all mourning the loss of a normal New York Fashion Week, how are we supposed to know what to stock up on for fall? Luckily, we’re here to help. Here is a list of some of our favorite trends you’re about to see everywhere this fall.
Metallic
Shiny everything! This is our favorite trend this fall, and we can’t wait to see it in action. Think about that gold top that looked stunning when you bought it in store but you never knew where or when to wear it. Well, now you can shamelessly rock it during this fall season. And if you’re brave, try pairing a metallic top with metallic bottoms!
Preppy
Plaid pants are everything this fall. Think Gossip Girl vibes but in 2020: collared tops, collared tops under sweatshirts, tennis skirts, everything All-American you can think of. Tailor the classic preppy look to your liking by adding chunky, quirky jewelry or a modern hair and makeup look.
Blazers
If you don’t have a blazer in your closet by now, this is your sign to buy one! Blazers in all shapes and sizes are the biggest trend you’ll see this fall. Now, we’re not talking that plain navy blue blazer you keep in the back of your closet for interviews; we’re talking cropped, plaid, textured blazers that you can layer with your favorite blouses and make your own.
All Animal
All animal everything this fall. Animal prints and faux fur will be here before you know it. We all loved cheetah print this summer, so bring those fun summer tops into fall as fun layering pieces. Masks are now a staple in our wardrobes, so you might as well get an animal print mask to match your trendy fall outfits. And why not pair your mask with animal print pants? We’re certainly not stopping you.
Teeny Tops
Another favorite fall trend this year is teeny tiny tops, which we can layer all fall long. Unpopular opinion, but summer is the best fashion season—the pieces are flattering and have a ton of variety. Pair your warm-weather tops and bralettes with sheer overlays, denim jackets, cardigans or blazers.
