Revamp Your Spring 2021 Playlist
The weather is warming up, the flowers are blooming, and spring is in the air. With the change of seasons, most people transition their wardrobe from winter clothes to spring/summer clothes. But what about transitioning your music?
The concept may seem a little silly at first, but in reality, it makes sense. The change in seasons is a little life “refresh”—a chance to get rid of the old and bring in the new. We all have our go-to songs and playlists, but it's so easy to get sucked into what we know and love when there are SO many amazing artists out there. There are endless music genres to listen to—from rock to country, pop to experimental, and everything in between. Not to mention young artists, bands, solo performers… and the list goes on. Music taste is unique to every individual, which is why so many people use it as an outlet. “Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent”- Victor Hugo.
We here at The Edge are partial to Spotify, but there are so many other streaming services available! For those wanting to switch up their music, here is a list of some up-and-coming artists and songs to check out and add to your spring playlist!
